Make a meaningful impact in students lives by guiding learners across a range of grade levels as a Special Education Teacher. In this contract position, youll help shape the academic and personal development of students from early childhood through high school, including specialized support in mathematics. Collaborate with administrators, fellow educators, and families to create inclusive, adaptive, and engaging learning environments.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with diverse student populations in grades Pre-K through 12
• Expertise in modifying curriculum and instruction to meet individual learning needs
• Strong knowledge of math instruction, interventions, and supports
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with parents, staff, and outside agencies
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom climate

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students in grades Pre-K to 12, focusing on individualized and group special education supports
• Adapt math instruction and lessons for multiple grade levels, ensuring accessibility for all learners
• Employ a variety of research-based strategies to address students unique needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Communicate regularly with families, advocating for student growth and progress
• Maintain accurate records and report student achievement and behavioral updates
• Participate in professional development and school meetings to support continuous improvement
