Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential in the state or transferable license
• Demonstrated experience or training working with students from Pre-K through 12th grade
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Classroom management skills and a collaborative approach with general education staff
• Experience teaching Math or other core subjects, adaptable across multiple grade levels
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that accommodate various learning styles and abilities
• Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to deliver comprehensive support
• Foster an inclusive learning environment for all students
• Communicate effectively with families about student development and progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing training sessions
