What Were Looking For:

• Active and valid Pennsylvania teaching license in Special Education is required
• Experience working with students with a range of learning differences, across elementary to high school levels
• Flexibility and openness to caseload assignments, with willingness to indicate preferences
• Strong skills in adapting curriculum, developing IEPs, and implementing targeted interventions
• Exceptional communication abilities for effective collaboration with staff, families, and service providers
• Compassionate, patient, and resilient mindset
• Familiarity with legal and ethical guidelines for special education

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and individualized instruction as outlined in IEPs and 504 plans
• Assess students strengths, challenges, and progress, maintaining accurate documentation
• Partner with professionals and families in support planning and goal development
• Create a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment for all learners
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
• Manage caseload and administrative tasks as required
