Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid South Carolina Special Education (SPED) teaching license

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the diverse needs of your caseload
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages student engagement and growth
  • Collaborate with other special education staff, support personnel, and families to facilitate student success
  • Apply effective instructional strategies and accommodations to ensure access to the general curriculum
  • Participate in IEP meetings and school-based professional development
