Job Description

This contract, full-time position offers a dynamic schedule, with staff hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily. Youll work with a manageable caseload of up to eight students, ensuring each child receives individualized attention and instruction within a supportive team setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Special Education (SPED) teaching license required
  • Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
  • Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
  • Commitment to fostering positive and inclusive learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans to meet each students Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Manage all aspects of the classroom, adapting instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues, families, and related services providers to ensure comprehensive support for each student
  • Write and revise IEP documents in accordance with regulations and best practices
  • Maintain thorough documentation and ongoing communication with staff and parents regarding student progress

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $65.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
