Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students in Pre-K, elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Strong background in differentiating instruction across academic subjects, with a focus on Math
• Familiarity with IEP goal-setting, assessment, and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability to meet diverse learner needs and create a positive classroom climate

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons and modify curriculum to meet individualized education plan (IEP) requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to implement best practices
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies for continued growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals
• Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that celebrates student achievement across grade levels
