Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience instructing students in grades Pre-K through 12, across multiple developmental levels.
• Strong background working with IEPs and adapting curriculum for individualized student goals.
• Demonstrated ability to teach Math concepts to a range of learning abilities.
• Passion for inclusive, equitable education and supporting students unique strengths.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with parents, support staff, and administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement instructional plans tailored to each students individualized education program (IEP).
• Deliver engaging Math lessons and support across multiple grade levels, adapting strategies for diverse learners.
• Monitor and document students progress, maintaining regular communication with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Foster a supportive, nurturing classroom environment that encourages confidence, participation, and growth.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings as required by the school.
