Qualifications & Experience:

• Active New Jersey special education teaching license required
• Experience teaching in elementary, middle, or high school settings preferred
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet a broad spectrum of learning needs
• Strong communication skills to engage students, families, and colleagues
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom culture

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and adjust Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students diverse abilities and goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure effective support
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles, challenges, and strengths
• Assess student progress regularly, maintaining thorough and organized documentation
• Foster a positive, respectful classroom environment that encourages student participation and self-advocacy
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as required
