Make a difference in the lives of young learners by joining a dedicated team supporting children with autism in a non-verbal, self-contained classroom. Two experienced educators are needed to teach Pre-K through 1st Grade in a nurturing environment, focusing on growth, independence, and functional communication skills. These classrooms serve six students each, with the support of two paraprofessionals, and are integrated within a broader program with robust collaboration among BCBA, OT, PT, and other specialists.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid TOSD + PreK-3 or TOH certification is required
• Prior experience working with students with autism, particularly in non-verbal settings
• Skilled in promoting functional behavior and communication strategies
• Comfortable working with high-needs populations and employing evidence-based interventions
• Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to Pre-K1st Grade students in a self-contained autism classroom
• Implement evidence-based teaching methods and behavioral supports centered on functional skills
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and safe learning environment that encourages communication and independence
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and team members to develop and implement IEPs and support plans
• Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in team meetings
