Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state Special Education certification
• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred)
• Experience working with children who have varying disabilities and learning needs
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and assessment
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to create differentiated lesson plans and instructional strategies
• Flexibility and a passion for making a difference in the lives of students

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum, teaching methods, and learning environments to meet diverse needs
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in both individual and group settings
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and compliance records
• Communicate proactively with families to foster collaborative support for student achievement
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school activities as needed
