Key Qualifications:

• Must possess an active Minnesota special education teaching license
• Previous experience teaching in elementary, middle, or high school settings is highly valued

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for working alongside parents, staff, and related service professionals
• Ability to adapt teaching style to accommodate various learning abilities and needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction designed to meet the unique needs of each student as specified in IEPs
• Develop and implement individualized education programs, progress monitoring, and reports
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom climate that encourages student participation and engagement
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding progress, goals, and challenges
• Assist in creating and modifying lesson materials to ensure accessibility and understanding for all learners
