Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
- Previous experience or solid foundational knowledge in special education settings
- Strong communication skills for effective classroom management and team collaboration
- Ability to create inclusive and adaptive lesson plans for diverse learners
- Dedication to maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality instruction to students with varied abilities, using individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to optimize growth and engagement
- Work closely with educators, therapists, and administrators to coordinate services and supports
- Maintain detailed records of student performance, achievements, and behavioral data
- Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging classroom culture that nurtures academic and social development
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to share progress and collaborate on student goals
