Qualifications and Experience:

• Minnesota special education teaching license, Tier 3 or Tier 4 required
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Effective communication skills for working with students, families, and colleagues
• Strong classroom management and organizational abilities
• Flexibility and problem-solving skills for adapting to varying student needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and implement IEPs according to state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and families to support student growth
• Maintain accurate records and track student progress toward IEP goals
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and achievement
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
