Seven full-time positions are available, with assignments tailored to your expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD), and general special education. Settings range from focused Autism programs to itinerant positions and homebound services, with manageable caseloads ensuring you can build strong relationships and deliver individualized instruction.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license (required)
- Demonstrated experience in special education (ASD, ECSE, DCD, or general SPED)
- Comfortable with settings ranging from small-group instruction to itinerant/homebound services
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and families
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Flexible and adaptive in meeting diverse student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs and specialized instruction in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
- Provide targeted support to students with a range of exceptional needs (caseloads between 4-19 students, depending on the role)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, service providers, and families to ensure holistic care
- Maintain accurate records and ongoing communication
