This opportunity is for an onsite Elementary Science Teacher to support special education and ESL students in a school setting located in Eden Prairie, MN. The contract position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, working directly with an elementary caseload focused on science education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective science instruction aligned with MN General Education standards.
- Adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies to accommodate special education and ESL students.
- Collaborate with school staff to support student growth and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing appropriate feedback and interventions.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate with parents and team members.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota General Education Science Endorsements.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in special education and ESL environments.
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Eden Prairie, MN.
