This full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a high school in Eden Prairie, MN. The role focuses on supporting students in a CREED Classroom setting, specializing in Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (EBD). This contract position offers a structured schedule with a combination of individual teaching, co-teaching, and study hall supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 2 hours of direct instruction tailored to students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Co-teach for 2 hours alongside general education teachers to support inclusive learning.
• Supervise and assist students during 2 hours of study hall.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and staff.

Qualifications:

• Minnesota Special Education teaching license required.
• EBD endorsement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience working with high school students in special education settings.
• Strong understanding of behavioral intervention techniques.
• Ability to effectively co-teach and collaborate in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
