Exciting contract opportunity available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher skilled in providing support to middle school students on the autism spectrum. This position, based near Easton, PA, offers a rewarding chance to impact students' lives in a supportive school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement for middle school grades.
• Prior experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management abilities.
• Enthusiasm for creating inclusive, individualized educational strategies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families.

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction and interventions for middle school students receiving autistic support.
• Adapt and implement IEPs in a structured, engaging manner that addresses each students unique needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote students academic, behavioral, and social growth.
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and participate actively in IEP meetings.
• Provide a safe, nurturing classroom environment that fosters student confidence and independence.
• Manage classroom schedules, routines, and transitions effectively.

Contract Details and Schedule:

• Full-time contract through June 10, 2027.
• Monday through Friday, 7:15am-2:45pm (35 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch).
• Number of students assigned is to be determined.
