Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid New Jersey special education teaching license (active and in good standing)
• Experience working within elementary, middle, or high school settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to partner with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to differentiate instruction and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Resourcefulness and adaptability in supporting diverse learners
• Passion for fostering inclusive classrooms and positive behavioral supports

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with a range of learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Work closely with general education staff to provide accommodations and co-teaching, as needed
• Participate in student evaluation, documentation, and progress reporting
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians on student progress and strategies for success
