• Valid North Carolina Special Education License
• Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher (high school experience preferred)

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Provide direct instruction and support to high school students on your caseload
• Employ positive behavioral interventions to encourage student growth
• Track progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with state and district requirements
• Partner with general education teachers, families, and service providers to create a positive learning atmosphere
