Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active and valid Minnesota special education teaching license is required
• Experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school settings is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learner needs
• Commitment to maintaining compliance with IEPs, state, and federal education guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to students in compliance with their IEPs
• Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum and tailored to varying ability levels
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other specialists to ensure student success
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture where students feel valued and supported
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, evaluations, and observations
• Engage in ongoing communication with families and participate in IEP meetings as needed
