Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and current Ohio Intervention Specialist license is required
- Experience supporting students in one or more of the following levels: elementary, middle, or high school
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learner needs
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to students with varying disabilities in accordance with their IEPs
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual learning goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the planning and assessment of student progress
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation as required by school and state policies
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages growth and confidence
