Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (required)
• Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborative spirit, able to work well with staff, families, and related service providers
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt strategies and materials to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs for assigned students in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Support students across academic, social, and behavioral domains within the least restrictive environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support and progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, tracking student progress and compliance
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and accommodations
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued and empowered
