Qualifications:

• Current Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) teaching license required
• Proven experience in special education, specifically with elementary-aged students
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience applying ABA principles
• Previous classroom leadership in a substantially separate or Autism support setting highly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and related service providers

What Youll Do:

• Teach and support elementary learners within a substantially separate classroom environment
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
• Utilize ABA strategies to promote academic, social, and emotional growth
• Collaborate with families and instructional teams to achieve student goals
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and safe classroom atmosphere

This contract position follows school-based hours, Monday through Friday, 8:15am3pm, providing a stable schedule and the chance to be a consistent presence in your students educational journey.
