Requirements for Success:
- Active Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching License
- Previous experience with students on the autism spectrum is highly valued
- Strong ability to support students with diverse behavioral and educational needs
- Capable of managing all aspects of special education documentation, including developing and implementing IEPs and leading IEP meetings
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent collaboration skills, working closely with paraprofessionals and related service providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized instruction and behavioral support in small classroom settings (maximum of 8 students per class with 23 dedicated paraprofessionals)
- Develop, write, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique strengths and goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Pennsylvania regulations
- Foster an inclusive and structured learning environment that empowers all learners to succeed
