Job Description

A school-based opportunity is available for Special Education Teachers to serve students with disabilities in Dover, DE. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 9th and primarily involves supporting one school within the district. Candidates with the Delaware Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities Standard Certificate are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering specially designed instruction to students with disabilities according to their individual needs
  • Collaborating with school staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities Standard Certificate

Onboarding includes district-specific requirements and fingerprint clearance prior to starting.
