This opportunity seeks experienced Special Education Teachers dedicated to supporting young learners in an early childhood setting. The positions are contract-based for the current school year, located onsite in Dover, DE, working with children aged 3 to 4 years identified with autism and/or developmental delays.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student within the caseload.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in professional development and collaborative meetings.

Qualifications:

• Valid Delaware Special Education Teacher license.
• Experience working with early childhood populations, particularly with autism and developmental delays.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and teamwork.

Position Details:

• Location: Onsite in Dover, Delaware.
• Schedule: Approximately 37.5 hours per week.
• Duration: ASAP start through the end of the school year.
• Caseload: Varies depending on candidate; multiple openings available.
