Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification, preferably in the state of Massachusetts
• Proven experience working with students with varying disabilities and learning needs
• Strong ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to individual needs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to maintaining a positive, inclusive educational atmosphere
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver differentiated instruction in alignment with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet evolving needs
• Collaborate with general educators, related service providers, and families to support student growth
• Document student performance, complete required reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Create a safe, respectful classroom environment fostering social and emotional development
• Employ assistive technologies and evidence-based interventions to promote learning
