Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teaching credential (state-specific requirements must be met)
• Experience working with students in early childhood, elementary, middle, or high school; flexibility welcomed
• Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and familiarity with adapting curriculum to various learning needs
• Strong communication skills for building relationships with students, families, and fellow staff members
• Organized and adaptable, capable of managing diverse caseloads and grade levels

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction to classes or small groups of students from Pre-K through grade 12, based on assignment
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Utilize effective instructional strategies for a range of learning differences and behavior management techniques
• Regularly assess student progress, documenting growth and making data-driven modifications to support optimal learning outcomes
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages engagement and confidence
• Maintain clear communication with caregivers and school personnel, supporting student success both in and out of the classroom
