Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Design and deliver differentiated instruction using evidence-based practices.
- Create a structured classroom environment that supports communication, behavior, and sensory needs.
- Utilize data collection and progress monitoring to inform instruction and interventions.
- Collaborate with special education staff, general education teachers, therapists, and families.
- Support students in developing communication, social, and life skills.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
- Active Michigan Special Ed cert.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Pass background check and drug screening
