Requirements:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification in Michigan (emergency permits not accepted)
• Availability to work during school hours, with no conflicting obligations or other employment during those times
• Immediate start preferred; candidates who are already credentialed are highly sought
• Experience with Power School and Special Programs platforms is a plus
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and support personnel

Assignment Details:

• Flexible full-time or part-time schedules offered
• Elementary (K-5) assignment: Covering for a teacher on medical leave, working with young learners to meet IEP goals
• Secondary (6-12) assignment: Supporting middle and high school students across various subjects and learning objectives
• Only one school locationno travel between sites required
• Engage in day-to-day lesson planning, IEP implementation, progress monitoring, and adapting instruction to a range of student abilities
