This full-time, contract opportunity for the 26/27 school year allows you to use your expertise as a Special Education Teacher through dynamic push-in and pull-out models, fostering belonging and academic success for students with significant cognitive, developmental, or behavioral challenges.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Michigan teacher certification with an active special education endorsement
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction, developing and adapting curriculum to meet each students unique needs
- Facilitate both push-in and pull-out sessions to support IEP goals across various classroom environments
- Partner with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure cohesive plans for instruction and progress monitoring
- Foster an inclusive, positive environment while implementing strategies that nurture social, emotional, and academic growth
- Maintain comprehensive records of student progress, assessments, and communication
