Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Michigan Special Education Certification required
  • Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably at the elementary level

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and instructional support within a resource setting to elementary students identified for special education services

  • Utilize accommodation and modification strategies to address diverse learning and behavioral needs
  • Track and document student progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Partner with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students academic and social success
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere
