This is a full-time special education teaching opportunity in Detroit, MI, working within an elementary school setting. The position involves supporting a diverse range of students in a resource room and a creative learning program designed for self-contained special education classrooms. The role includes managing an elementary school caseload with a focus on both lower elementary and older students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students in a resource room and self-contained classroom environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education; a Masters or Doctoral degree in Special Education is preferred.
• Valid Michigan special education teaching certificate; sub-licenses are not accepted.
• Experience working with diverse student populations is preferred.
• Ability to effectively manage an elementary special education caseload.
