Qualifications:

  • Valid LBS1 endorsement is required.
  • Previous experience as a case manager in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws, compliance, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for working with families, students, and professionals.
  • Dedication to promoting student growth and advocating for supportive services.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage IEP development and implementation for assigned students.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations.
  • Collaborate with general educators, therapists, service providers, and families to support student progress.
  • Facilitate IEP meetings, ensuring parent engagement and clear communication.
  • Monitor and document student achievements, adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Provide direct instruction and academic interventions as outlined in student IEPs.
