Exciting opportunities are available for licensed Special Education Teachers eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students from kindergarten through high school. This contract position focuses on supporting learners in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 for the remainder of the current school year, with the potential for extension into the 2026/2027 academic year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current New Hampshire teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
- Experience working with students across a broad range of grade levels (K-5, 6-8, 9-12) preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to create inclusive, differentiated instructional plans and adapt materials to meet student needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with general education teachers, families, and support staff
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, positive, and engaging classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted special education instruction individually and in group settings based on students IEPs
- Collaborate with team members to develop and update IEP goals and objectives
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress regularly
- Facilitate communication with families regarding students academic and social-emotional development
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and ongoing training
- Implement behavior intervention strategies as needed to support students success
