Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher / Case Manager to join a supportive school district in Thornton, Colorado for the upcoming school year. This is a great opportunity for an educator who is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs while collaborating with a strong special education team.
Position Details:
Full-time position
School-based setting
Elementary, middle, or high school caseloads available
Contract position for the upcoming school year
Onsite services
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
Manage and maintain compliance for assigned student caseload
Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students with varying needs
Collaborate with general education staff, therapists, and families
Attend and lead IEP meetings as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
Qualifications:
Active Colorado Special Education Teaching License
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience managing IEPs and compliance timelines preferred

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.00 to $57.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
