Make a significant impact as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic K-8 environment near Denver, CO. In this contract role, youll provide dedicated support, instruction, and advocacy to students with diverse learning needs, all while fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom community.
Your day-to-day will be filled with meaningful interactions as you tailor instruction, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that every student on your caseload receives the best possible educational experience.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Special Education Teacher license
- Experience or strong interest in K-8 educational settings
- Ability to adapt lessons and teaching methods to meet individual student requirements
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized instruction and interventions for K-8 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in consultation with families and other professionals
- Manage a caseload as assigned, providing direct and indirect services
- Collaborate with general education teachers and school staff to ensure accommodations are implemented
- Collect data and track progress to inform instructional decisions and document compliance
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and team members

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.00 to $57.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
