What You'll Bring:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification/licensure in Colorado
- Proven experience working with K-12 students with exceptional needs
- In-depth understanding of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and disabilities
- Excellent communication skills for team collaboration with faculty, families, and external service providers
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, empathetic mindset
Your Role:
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction tailored to students IEP goals
- Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, school support staff, and families
- Employ evidence-based interventions and instructional techniques to foster student growth
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation, assessments, and progress reports
- Foster a positive classroom environment that values equity, inclusion, and respect
