Youll have the unique chance to provide dedicated instruction in a resource room setting for a small, fluid caseload of 10-15 students each week. Qualifications & Experience:
- Current MD certification as a secondary Special Education Teacher is required.
- Experience supporting middle school students in a resource room or similar environment.
- Skilled in developing, implementing, and tracking Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
- Flexible, compassionate approach to teaching and student engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction aligned with each students IEP and academic goals.
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate developments with staff and families.
- Collaborate with general educators and support staff to enhance inclusion and student success.
- Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment that fosters learning and emotional growth.
- Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing professional development.
