Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous classroom or resource room experience in special education roles

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage effectively with parents/guardians
• Flexibility and problem-solving skills required to adapt to individual student needs

What Youll Do:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support tailored to a variety of student abilities
• Develop, review, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Track student progress, maintaining accurate and thorough documentation
• Work closely with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusion
• Create engaging classroom environments to nurture academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and goals
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and IEP team meetings
