Position Overview:
A district in the Dearborn, MI area is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time position. The educator will support students with diverse learning needs and collaborate with staff to provide effective, individualized instruction in a structured classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities
- Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and student records
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
- Active Michigan Special Education endorsement
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Special Education classroom
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field
- No substitutes permitted
