Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Special Education teaching certification (MI SPED)
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students in resource settings, ensuring their academic and social-emotional success

• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs
• Collect data to assess student progress and adjust instructional plans as needed
• Work in cooperation with general education teachers to support student inclusion
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and goals
• Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation
