Job Description

Three full-time Special Education teaching opportunities are currently offered for dedicated professionals ready to serve elementary and high school students. This onsite contract role involves working closely with students, families, and school teams to foster academic, social, and behavioral growth.

Current roles include:

  • Elementary Autism Program
  • Early Childhood (EC) Position
  • High School Special Education

Key qualifications:

  • Valid Elementary Special Education certification
  • Behavior endorsements as required
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, particularly in autism and behavior support programs, is highly valued
  • Ability to adapt instruction and interventions to meet individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, support staff, and families
  • Commitment to cultivating an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment

Core responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans based on students IEPs
  • Monitor, assess, and document student progress
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and support classroom integration
  • Provide direct instruction and behavioral interventions as needed
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP planning, and ongoing professional development opportunities
