A Special Education Teacher position is available in Parachute, CO, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in the education and development of students with diverse learning needs. Location: Parachute, CO 81635
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals and other staff to provide effective classroom support
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain thorough documentation and communication with families and school administration
• Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Colorado Special Education Teaching License is required
• Experience working with various age groups, with flexibility depending on placement needs
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 25 students with diverse special education requirements
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with paraprofessionals, families, and educators
