Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Certified as a Special Education Teacher
• Proven experience working with students in grades 68
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a resource classroom for 6th8th grade students, providing individualized and small group support
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans and accommodations aligned with students IEP goals
• Assess student progress and modify instruction accordingly
• Actively collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Create a positive, respectful, and engaging classroom culture
