What You'll Bring:

• Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate with Special and General Education endorsements applicable to Pre-K
• Previous experience in special education settings, especially with early childhood populations
• Understanding of non-verbal communication techniques and differentiated instruction
• Ability to provide compassionate assistance to students with toileting, diapering, and feeding needs
• Skill in managing and responding to challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and supports for Pre-K students with varying cognitive, behavioral, and physical needs
• Assist students with basic life skills, including toilet training, diapering, and feeding
• Implement effective behavior management strategies
• Collaborate with other professionals and caregivers to foster communication and share progress
• Develop and adapt educational materials to meet each students unique abilities and learning styles
• Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings as required
