• Valid GA SPED licensure appropriate for high school grades
• Experience supporting students with severe and profound intellectual disabilities
• Comfort with physical requirements and hands-on assistance
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
• Dedication to adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Flexibility to participate in virtual panel interviews and follow district onboarding procedures, including fingerprinting

Key responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support to high school students with severe and profound ID
• Implement and modify IEPs to promote student success
• Collaborate with related service providers, support staff, and families
• Complete required documentation and progress monitoring
• Participate in school meetings and professional development
• Foster a classroom culture of respect, inclusion, and high expectations
