Located in the vibrant area near Cuyahoga Falls, youll provide vital services to help students reach their fullest potential in a dynamic school setting. This position offers the opportunity to work a steady weekly schedule, collaborating with educators and families while using your expertise in special education to foster growth and independence in diverse student populations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist certification required
- Experience working with K-12 students within special education environments preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to adapt instruction to meet student needs
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage effective IEPs for students with varying needs
- Deliver engaging instruction tailored to both individuals and small groups
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Monitor and document student growth, adjusting interventions and strategies as necessary
- Advocate for student needs within the school community and maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines
