Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (SPED)
  • Experience teaching in K-8 settings preferred

  • Ability to adapt materials and instruction for diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging instruction to small groups (fewer than 10 students) in a co-taught classroom environment for grades 3-4 and 7-8
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers to develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles
  • Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Track and report student progress, maintaining accurate records
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, team discussions, and ongoing professional development
  • Foster a supportive, positive classroom culture that encourages academic growth and personal development

Position Overview:

  • Full-time contract for the 2026-2027 school year
