This full-time contract role runs Monday through Thursday from 7:45am to 4:15pm and involves managing a caseload of approximately 12 studentsproviding you with focused time to help each child thrive.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working with middle school students or in a similar educational setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and compliance requirements
- Ability to develop and implement individualized instructional and behavioral strategies
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed documentation and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and service providers to support student success
- Provide direct instruction and adaptive learning experiences tailored to each students needs
- Track and report on student progress toward IEP goals
- Serve as a case manager, coordinating services and acting as an advocate for your caseload of students
- Maintain effective classroom management and a positive, inclusive learning environment
