This full-time contract role runs Monday through Thursday from 7:45am to 4:15pm and involves managing a caseload of approximately 12 studentsproviding you with focused time to help each child thrive.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with middle school students or in a similar educational setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP process and compliance requirements
• Ability to develop and implement individualized instructional and behavioral strategies
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed documentation and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and service providers to support student success
• Provide direct instruction and adaptive learning experiences tailored to each students needs
• Track and report on student progress toward IEP goals
• Serve as a case manager, coordinating services and acting as an advocate for your caseload of students
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive, inclusive learning environment
