Job Description

In this role, youll take the lead on a high school caseload, providing direct instructional support in reading intervention and executive functioning strategies. As a valued educator, you'll collaborate with an established team to deliver consistent, personalized support designed to help every student thrive.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License required
  • Learning Disabilities (LD) licensure strongly preferred
  • Previous experience supporting high school students in special education settings
  • Strong background in reading intervention and executive functioning support
  • Skillful with IEP implementation, progress monitoring, and delivering academic accommodations
  • Ability to swiftly integrate into a collaborative educational environment
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily instruction focusing on reading intervention and executive functioning for students with learning disabilities
  • Implement and monitor progress on individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Provide instructional and behavioral support in the classroom to maximize student success
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and high-achieving atmosphere for all students

Assignment Details:

  • Full-time, MondayFriday, 7:30 AM3:30 PM
  • Early school year through Thanksgiving, supporting the transition into a positive and productive year
