Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license (SPED)
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement personalized education programs that address the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to develop and execute IEPs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary for academic and behavioral success
  • Maintain detailed records, reporting, and communication as required
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
