Qualifications:
- Current Texas Special Education (SPED) teaching certification
- Previous experience in special education or with K-12 populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to create customized lesson plans and learning interventions

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure student success
- Foster inclusive classrooms while providing small-group or one-on-one support as needed
- Monitor and document student progress, communicating regularly with families and administrators
- Participate in professional development and school meetings to stay current with special education best practices
