Qualifications:

  • Current Texas Special Education (SPED) teaching certification
  • Previous experience in special education or with K-12 populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in accordance with state and federal guidelines

  • Monitor and document student progress, communicating regularly with families and administrators
  • Participate in professional development and school meetings to stay current with special education best practices
